Save the date now; Wed. Nov.30, for a trip to San Juan Capistrano either by train or car for a day of shopping and lunch at Guapas Tapas. Guapas is a restaurant featuring fantastic small plates that we will all share. The Amtrak train leaves the Oceanside Station at 10:15. There is ample free parking at a multi level structure on the north side of the station. The return train leaves S.J Capistrano at 1:44 or 4:15 depending on how much time you wish to spend there. The round trip senior fare is $25.50. If you choose to drive yourself there is free parking at the SJC station right next to the restaurant.
Wednesday, October 19th Our special event for October will be STROLLING CARLSBAD and lunch at one of the great restaurants in Carlsbad Village. There are many boutique shops, clothing, art, jewelry, shoe and speciality stores in Carlsbad. Let’s take time and enjoy our surrounding area.
We will meet at Food 4 Less parking lot at 10:30, Wednesday, October 19th and carpool to Carlsbad.
My friend’s doctor said to exercise and eat the right food but I am sure I heard my doctor say Accessorize and buy nice shoes. Strolling Carlsbad will help us accomplish both of these tasks.

We are going shopping at a ladies boutique called Charming Charlie. Here you will find handbags, jewelry, scarves, apparel and other accessories. Everything is contemporary and well priced. After shopping, we will move on to lunch at the nearby Cheesecake Factory. Let’s meet at Charming Charlie at 10:30 am for a fun day. Location is the North County Fair Mall, 200 E. Casino and Outlet Shopping Trip Feb. 18, 2016 $15.00 per person( receive coupon for 50% off food in restaurants and a discount coupon book for outlet center) We will meet at Food for Less at 500 Hacienda Dr., Vista at 8:45 a.m. and the bus will leave promptly at 9:00 a.m. If you have a casino club membership card, bring it with you or you can get a new one at the casino. All bus riders must have valid photo id and a club membership card in order for us to quality for free bus. This is a fund raiser for the club and all monies received will be kept by club. The Outlet Mall is across the street from the casino for members wishing to shop. Feel free to invite friends.
