No LEO for December. Juanita Savage will host a January LEO. It will be held at the Green Dragon in Carlsbad. We will meet there at 5:30 p.m. to see the museum and dinner will be at 6:00 p.m. The date will be announced at the January coffee meeting. And a e- blast will also be sent out with date information.

The ladies of Vista Friends and Newcomers are always looking for new activities which we think our members will enjoy. We are proud to announce the start of our latest venture, “Fine Dining”. This will be an opportunity for those who are interested to get together every second or third month at a very nice restaurant to enjoy good company and good food. The venue and timing (luncheon, dinner, bunch) for these meals will be the hostess’s choice .
Our inaugural event will be a brunch on Sunday, September 17th at 12:30pm at the Park Hyatt Aviara. We will be exploring the Sparkling Brunch Buffet with endless Mimosas and Bellinis. The cost is $58 per person. If you would like more information or to sign up please contact the “delicious” Janet Leary She will need to get our reservation to the restaurant on Thursday, September 14th so that will be your deadline to notify her of your attendance. Get your taste buds and your empty tummies ready!

As of press time, we had no sign-ups for a LEO for February. Do we want to continue with LEO’S? It appears that maybe once a month is too often. Would it be better to have a LEO only in the daylight savings months. Please let me know what your thoughts are regarding LEO’s. Thank you, Trudy.
