I sent “get well” cards to Sally McVitty and Carla Berhold.

Sally fell a while back. Lynn Hillman said she saw her the other day and said she was doing so much better.

Carla has been having back problems again, along with her hip, leg and knee problems. We’re thinking of you both and hoping it won’t be long until you feel a lot better. We missed you both at the Board Meeting. Take care gals.
Remember dear friends, if you know of anyone who needs a “get well, thinking of you or miss you” card let me know and I will be happy to send out a card. Mary Held (760) 727-2165

I sent “thinking of you” cards to Vickie Williams and Olga Larson. Vickie fell in her bath tub and Wilma had to call 911. She hurt her pelvic bone. Olga is just not feeling well. Continue to stay well ladies. I sent a “condolence” card to the daughter-in-law of a gal named Eleanor who passed away a few weeks ago. I must confess I do not know who this person is and I can’t remember who called me to tell me of her passing. I hope to find out. I sent a “feel better soon” card to Wilma Crosson. Our dear Wilma has been in the hospital for a week now. She was discharged from Scripps Encinitas hospital today and is at Astor Care on Bobier. Hopefully I will find out how long Wilma will be there and what her prognosis is.

I want to thank Ardis McAndrew again for the many lovely greeting cards she continues to give me. Thank you dear friend.

Remember gals, if you know of anyone who needs a “pick me up, get well, or thinking of you” card, let me know and I will be happy to send one out.

I sent “get well” cards to Vickie Williams and to Geri Kvarda.  Vickie was briefly hospitalized to find she has a herniated esophagus.  She was scheduled to see her Primary doctor.  Have not heard the results yet.  Geri was also in the hospital with some medical issues.  Hope the both of you are recovering well.  We’re thinking of you as always.  I sent a “hello” card to Carla and Ed Berhold.  Carla has her back and leg problems and Ed has ongoing problems too.  I just said that we were thinking of them and hoping they were doing better.  Marilyn Freitag has had issues with arthritis and pains in her leg far too  long now.  I sent a “thinking of you” card to her.  I called her yesterday and she told me the pain is still there.  Thinking of you too girlfriend.  I sent a “New Home” card to Karen Taylor and Bob Hawkins.  They are getting settled slowly but surely in their new home.  Miss you Karen.

I want to thank Janet Leary and Marilyn Freitag for the lovely cards they gave me. They sure come in handy.  And don’t forget gals, if you know of anyone who needs a “get well, thinking of you or just a pick me up” card, let me know and I will be happy to send one out.

May Sunshine Report

I sent a “condolence” card to Geri Kvarda. Her brother passed away a few weeks ago. So sorry Geri, our hearts go out to you.
I sent “thinking of you”, “just to say hello”, “feel better” and “get well” cards to the following ladies. Susan Franklin has been having back problems. We miss seeing you at our Coffee Susan. Please feel better soon. Linda Mueller was in a car accident. She was pulling out of her driveway when someone t-boned her. Her car was totaled. Thank goodness she wasn’t hurt badly. Saw her new car this morning at our Board Meeting. Good luck dear Linda. Jeanne McCloskey has had a number of health problems lately. Hope you’re feeling better Jeanne. Maureen Tutino has had some ongoing health issues. We went to play Bingo on Friday night. So happy she is feeling so much better. Lynn Hillman is in rehab in Encinitas. She fell Sunday and fractured her pelvis. She will be there for the next two weeks. They won’t discharge her until she’s able to function on her own. Go girl, show them what you can do. We’re thinking of you.

Our Bunco gals signed a “goodbye” card to Karen Taylor. She is leaving Vista and going North. We wish her all the best and we’re going to miss her dearly. Good Luck dear friend.
I want to thank Ardis McAndrew for the dozens of greeting cards she gave me. They will come in handy. So happy to see you at our “coffee” last month dear friend. Thanks again.

Remember dear friends, if you know of anyone who needs a “pick me up, get well or thinking of you” card, please let me know and I will be happy to send a card out.
