June special event will be lunch at Grand Traditions in Fallbrook on June 15 at 11:30 Lunch is on the veranda of this lovely estate.  We are limited to 8 people, so sign up quickly as this will sell out. Self guided garden tour is available at $2.50 per person

I sent “get well” cards to Vickie Williams and to Geri Kvarda.  Vickie was briefly hospitalized to find she has a herniated esophagus.  She was scheduled to see her Primary doctor.  Have not heard the results yet.  Geri was also in the hospital with some medical issues.  Hope the both of you are recovering well.  We’re thinking of you as always.  I sent a “hello” card to Carla and Ed Berhold.  Carla has her back and leg problems and Ed has ongoing problems too.  I just said that we were thinking of them and hoping they were doing better.  Marilyn Freitag has had issues with arthritis and pains in her leg far too  long now.  I sent a “thinking of you” card to her.  I called her yesterday and she told me the pain is still there.  Thinking of you too girlfriend.  I sent a “New Home” card to Karen Taylor and Bob Hawkins.  They are getting settled slowly but surely in their new home.  Miss you Karen.

I want to thank Janet Leary and Marilyn Freitag for the lovely cards they gave me. They sure come in handy.  And don’t forget gals, if you know of anyone who needs a “get well, thinking of you or just a pick me up” card, let me know and I will be happy to send one out.

COFFEE – Our Installation Luncheon will be on our regularly meeting day.  Hope you all can come. Please notify either Juanita  or Trudy Snell .  We are ordering from their menu and receiving individual checks. But we do need a head count for set up of the tables.

June is transition month. Be sure to attend the installation luncheon at the Hunter restaurant.  We will order off the menu so we don’t have to pay early and can choose what we want.  We do need reservations, however.  It would be great to have our newer members join us for this occasion. The luncheon will be held on our regular Coffee day, June 8th.

Vacations are being planned by our members.  We have a lot of adventurers.  Most of our activities continue through the summer.

Dues are due.  Remember to get yours in by the end of June.  This would really help our new treasurer and membership chair..

Put on your Thinking Cap. Think of a place to go for lunch or Lets eat out dinner. Sign up when the new board asks  for suggestions   Special events will need sign ups, too.  If you have been to a place or event we would enjoy attending.  Sometimes we might enjoy going back somewhere we have been in the past. We enjoyed viewing the results of our talented members at last coffee.  Practice and patience and persistence are used.
