Greetings to the New Year of 2025
HAPPY NEW YEAR!! I Hope that you all had a meaningful, restful holiday season. Looking forward to the many exciting, fun activities of VFN. We hope that you can all participate in some of the activities that we have planned. We have several new members that are participating and we would like to get to know them better.
January was named after Janus, the Roman god of all beginnings he had two faces so he could see the future and the past. We were all devastated by the news of Virginia Hueth’s death. She was a long time member (joined 2005) and was very active in many activities. She will be missed.
Our January General meeting is on January 9, Thursday at 9:30 at the Oceanside Broken Yolk. Let’s start the new year off right and have 100% attendance. Here’s hoping!!!
Thank you again for your confidence in me as your president. Hugs and Best Wishes for a beautiful New Year, Judith
HAPPY HOLIDAYS
The season has begun! The pressure to buy the perfect gift. Thinking about the food we will serve, the decorations, the parties and of course, the wrapping of the gifts. After all the planning of the Holiday, take some time for you to relax and enjoy your family and friends. This is a sad time for many of us that will miss someone at our festivities. Keep them in your hearts and think about the past holidays that you spent together. Share the memories with your family. I’m sure they too will have memories to share. No matter what Holiday you are celebrating it is my wish that you and your families and friends have a blessed and peaceful Holiday.
